HID® OCR316-E

OCR316-E, part of the HID ID document reader portfolio, is a compact USB swipe OCR reader that provides fast and accurate bidirectional reading of machine-readable passports, visas, US and international residence permits, and national ID cards.

The device also includes a three-track magnetic stripe reader (MSR) to read credit and debit cards, loyalty cards, and frequent flyer cards.

The guide length and single-slot design ensure that passports and identity cards align correctly for consistency and accuracy.
